Our 2 meter WARA net is held @8:00PM each Monday night (except the first Monday of the month and national holidays) on 146.760 MHz.

 

The Wilson County ARES Net will be held every 3rd Monday of every month except national holidays at 7:30 local time.

Join us at the Shiloh Church clubhouse for Field Day. This year, Field Day will be held on Saturday, June 28th.

 

Schedule:

7:30AM  -  Breakfast at Golden Corral

9:00AM  -  Site Set Up

12 Noon  - Operations Begin

ROUTE TO WARA CLUBHOUSE DETOURED

The Bloomery Swamp bridge on Lamm Road is being replaced. For most of our members, this means you’ll need to take a different route to get to our meeting place at Shiloh Church.

 

Heading west from Wilson  on Raleigh Road, turn right onto Bloomery Road. When you get to Lamm Road, turn left. Follow Lamm Road until you see Shiloh Church on your left.

From I-95, take the 121 exit. Head east towards Wilson on Raleigh Road. Turn left on to Bloomery Road. When you get to Lamm Road, turn left. Follow Lamm Road until you see Shiloh Church on your left.

Motorists traveling north on Lamm Road should turn right onto U.S. 264 and then left onto Bloomery Road back to Lamm Road.

Expected completion date for the bridge is December 2008.
